Community Jam Sessions

Path with Art holds monthly community Jam Sessions. This is a space where students and community members gather to make music together, informally and unrehearsed. Although attendees are encouraged to participate, they are also welcome to enjoy the event as audience members, and only participate when and if they feel ready. Attendees are invited to bring their own instruments if they have them, but we currently have some instruments available for shared use including microphones, guitars, a bass, drums and other percussion, flutes, a keyboard and more.

We are seeking volunteers to play music with our students, and also encourage community members to bring potluck dishes and drinks to share. To learn more or get involved, email music@pathwithart.org.

The next community jam is Sunday, March 17th, from 1pm to 4pm at Camp Second Chance in South Seattle — 9701 Myers Way S. The jam will be part of a community celebration at this sober homeless encampment community to share food, art and conversation. Everyone is welcome. Contact music@pathwithart.org with questions or to RSVP.
